SECTION 7: SERVICE

Review the troubleshooting procedures in this section if a problem develops with your machine. If you need
replacement parts or additional help with a procedure, call our Technical Support. Note: Please gather the
serial number and manufacture date of your machine before calling.
Motor & Electrical

Troubleshooting

Possible Solution
1. Turn master power switch to ON position.
2. Rotate EMERGENCY STOP button head to reset
(Page 19). Replace if at fault.
3. Reset safety cable switch (Page 18)/replace switch.
4. Reset circuit breaker(s).
5. Ensure correct power supply voltage and circuit size
(Page 9).
6. Ensure circuit is free of shorts. Reset circuit breaker or
replace fuse.
7. Correct motor wiring connections.
8. Reset. Adjust or replace if at fault.
9. Test/replace if at fault.
10. Test all legs for power; replace if necessary.
11. Fix broken wires or disconnected/corroded
connections.
12. Replace button/switch.
13. Inspect transformer; replace if at fault.
14. Inspect switch; replace if at fault.
15. Replace motor.
1. Use correct type/size of metal (Page 5).
2. Correct motor wiring connections.
3. Tighten/replace loose sprocket shaft(s).
4. Clean motor, let cool, and reduce workload. Reset
breaker.
5. Test/repair/replace.
6. Move machine closer to power supply; use shorter
extension cord (Page 10).
7. Test all legs for power; repair/replace if at fault.
8. Replace motor.
1. Replace damaged or missing bolts/nuts or tighten if
loose.
2. Fix/replace fan cover; replace loose/damaged fan.
3. Test by rotating shaft; rotational grinding/loose shaft
requires bearing replacement.
4. Replace sprocket(s)/rebuild gear reducer for bad
gear(s)/bearing(s).
