Choosing gas
1. You will need to purchase an LPG gas cylinder and a pressure regulator corresponding to the pressure and gas category of
the appliance, which can be obtained from your nearest gas retailer.
2. Propane gas cylinders can be used throughout the entire year. Butane gas cylinders work best during the summer – they are
distinctly less efficient at temperatures under +10 °C.
3. Only use the appliance with an 11 kg gas cylinder that does not exceed 600 mm in height and 300 mm in diameter.
4. Do not allow cylinders to be filled beyond 80% capacity. Over-filled cylinders can create a dangerous condition due to
pressure build-up and cause the valve to expel propane gas vapours. The vapour is combustible and if it comes in contact
with a spark source or flame, an explosion causing severe burns, bodily harm or death could occur.
5. Always use a protective cylinder cap when the appliance is not connected to the cylinder.

WARNING! Be aware of flashback!
Make sure there is no debris, spiders, small insects or webs inside the head of the gas cylinder, pressure
regulator, burner(s), burner tube(s) or hose, before any connection is made. They can obstruct the gas flow,
which could result in a fire in and around the burner tube. This kind of fire is known as "flashback" and can
cause serious damages. Check and clean (
appliance before assembling it, to reduce the chance of its occurrence.
Mounting / dismounting the gas cylinder
WARNING!
The instructions in this chapter apply for one 11 kg gas cylinder only! Do not attempt to mount
any other gas cylinder types inside the gas cylinder compartment of the appliance!
Ensure that you are outdoors and away from any sources of ignition before attempting to mount/
dismount a gas cylinder to/from the appliance.
Only place place the gas cylinder in the appliance's gas cyliner compartment, not at the side of
the appliance.
1. Open the door of the gas cylinder compartment.
2. Place the gas cylinder inside the hole of bottom panel of the compartment.
3. Follow the above steps in reversed order to dismount the gas cylinder.
Connecting / exchanging gas cylinders
WARNING!
Only use the provided or equivalent pressure regulator (
Using an improper or a defective pressure regulator is dangerous. Consult your specialised dealer concerning suitable pressure regulators. The
type of the pressure regulator to be used must indicate that it complies with the relevant standard and requirement (EN 16129).
Consult your local gas retailer regarding suitable gas cylinders and pressure regulators (
NOTE: Gas connections are equipped with left handed threads; the screw-nut needs to be turned counter clockwise!
1. Ensure that there are no ignition sources such as cigarettes, open flames, sparks and other heat sources nearby when connecting or replacing the gas
cylinders.
2. Mount the gas cylinder inside the appliance (
3. Make sure that all control knobs on the appliance are in the off positions OFF.
4. Make sure that the gas valve of the gas cylinder or the gas regulator is closed.
5. Connect the gas hose (max. length 1.5 m) to the gas line of the appliance. Do not overtighten the connections. Use only the delivered hardware to secure
the connections. Do not use sealing tape or a liquid sealant.
6. Turn the orange cap of the gas cylinder, so that the arrow is pointing to the gap in the shroud.
7. Remove the orange safety cap by pulling the lanyard out. Do not use tools. Leave the cap hanging.
8. Check that the black sealing washer is fitted inside the cylinder valve. Place the pressure regulator down over the valve with switch.
9. Turn the switch on the gas cylinder clockwise to secure the pressure regulator.
10. Connect the other end of the gas hose to the pressure regulator .
11. Check all connections for gas leaks (
