You ran rerord and play bark still images on the "Memory Stirk" sui)plied with your
camcorder. You can easily play back, record o1" delete still images. You can exchange
image data with other equipment such as a personal computer etc., using the serial port
adaptor fbr "Memory Stick" (not supplied) or PC card adaptor fur""Memory Stick" (not
supplied).
On file format (JPEG)
Your camcorder compresses image data in JPEG fiormat (extension .jpg).

• You cannot record or erase still images when the write protect tah on the "Memor T
Stick" is set to LOCK.
• We recommend backing up important data.
• hnage data may be damaged in the following cases:
If you remove the "Memory Stick", turn the power oft; or detach the batte W for
replacement when the access lamp is flashing
If you use "Memo W Stick"s trader circumstances affbcted by static electricity or
magnetic field.
• Prevent metallic objects or your finger fl'om coming into contact with the metal parts
of the connecting section.
• Stick its label on the labeling position.
• Do not bend, drop or apply strong shock to "MemorT Stick"s.
• Do not disassemble or modify "Memory Stick"s.
• Do not let "Memory Stick"s get wet.
• Do not use or keep "Memo W Stick"s in locations that are:
Extremely hot such as in a car parked in the stm or trader the scorching sun
Under direct stmlight
Very humid or subject to corrosive gases
• When you can T or store a "Memory Stick", put it in its case.
