NOTE: The WWAN module and the WLAN module are not interchangeable.

Before removing the WWAN module, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly
2. Place the computer in "Battery Safe mode"
3. Remove the bottom cover
4. Remove the battery
Remove the WWAN module:
1. Disconnect the WWAN antenna cables (1) from the terminals on the WWAN module.
NOTE:
WWAN antenna cable is connected to the WWAN module "Aux" terminal.
2. Remove the Phillips M2.0×2.5 screw (2) that secures the WWAN module to the system board.
3. Remove the WWAN module (3) by pulling the module away from the slot.

The red WWAN antenna cable is connected to the WWAN module "Main" terminal. The blue
WWAN modules are designed with a notch to prevent incorrect insertion.
