Turn up thermostat
Does the fan
blower turn on?

Does the switch
light energize?
Yes
Does the igniter warm
up and glow red?

Find the source of the electrical
problem between panel and heater.
Is the light burnt out?

If so, replace.
Is the igniter

Replace igniter.

Replace faulty light.
Confirm that gas pressure
is within minimum and
maximum inputs as
indicated on the burner
rating plate. Are they ok?

Remove obstruction.
Check voltage at igniter during

45 seconds after power to the
heater). Is it 120 V?
Replace circuit board.
