Surround play
Select one of the surround modes.
@ Select the desired surround mode.
@ Select the desired sound field.
(This step is required only when "DSP " or
"DSP LOGIC" is selected in @ above.)
2 Play a video software program.
Fl Adjust the volume.

Each press of LISTEN MODE key switches the modes as follows
@ STEREO
'2; PRO LOGIC
'3 3 STEREO
@ DSP
@ DSP LOGIC
@The surround modes can also be selected directly using the corre-
sponding keys on the main unit

Example when DOLBY PRO LOGIC ts selected
For DSP mode
Ti ARENA :Reproduces the feeling of sitting in the
front row of an arena concert
@ JAZZ CLUB:Reproduces crisp cymbal crashes like at
a jazz club.
STADIUM § :Reproduces a feeling of release
associated with the near absence of
reverberation reflected from the ceiling.
For DSP LOGIC mode
[ TD LARGE :Reproduces the presence of a large
@SMALL
movie theater
:Reproduces the presence of a relatively
small movie theater
@To change the sound field, repeat step Ell from the beginning
e@The center speaker does not output sound when the DSP mode is
selected
To cancel the SURROUND play
