SERVICE FAULT/ERROR CODES

F1E1 Motor or Heater Fault
F2E1 HMI stuck button
F3E1 Exhaust Thermistor

F6E1 Communication Error: HMI and ACU

EXPLANATION AND RECOMMENDED PROCEDURE

Indicates a stuck button (depressed for over 20 seconds).
See Test #6: HMI,
Indicates that the exhaust thermistor is open or shorted. If the Open/Shorted temperature
drops below 18

the J14 connector is not plugged into the ACU. See TEST #4a: Thermistor,
Indicates the moisture sensor strip is open or shorted. This fault code will only appear
when in the Service Diagnostic mode. See TEST #5: Moisture Sensor,
Communication between the ACU and HMI has not been detected.
dz Unplug dryer or disconnect power.
dz Check the harness continuity and connections between the ACU and HMI.
dz Check AC and DC supplies.
dz Replace the HMI.
dz Replace the ACU.
Indicates the motor circuit is open or shorted.
