Press the POWER
switch to the ON posi-
tion.
2 Set the BAND
selector to either FM
or
AM.

When
listening to FM broadcasts, set the
FM ANT switch to the desired mode.
¢ When receiving cable FM ANT broadcasts, press the
switch so that the B (CATV) indicator lights.
® This switch has no effect on AM broadcasts.
4 Tune in the desired station.
¢ See the section 'DIRECT ACCESS TUNING" for infor-
mation on reception using the Direct Access Tuning
mode.
¢ See the section "AUTO TUNING" for information on
reception using the Auto Tuning mode.
© See the section "MANUAL TUNING" for information
on reception using the Manual Tuning mode.

When memorizing an FM station, either press the FM MODE
selector switch to forcibly memorize the station in the monau-
ral mode, or memorize the station in the auto stereo mode
(with FM MODE selector switch) left in the OFF position.
Also, the FM ANT mode will likewise be memorized.
5 Press the STATION (1—10/11—20) selector
switch to select STATION
1—10
or STA-

Press the MEMORY switch.
The word "MEMO" will appear on the display panel.
7 Press the STATION
CALL
switch
into
which you wish to preset the station.
8 Repeat steps 2 to 8 to preset stations into
the remaining switches 1 through 20.
Up to a total of 20 AM and FM stations may be preset. If you
mistakenly preset a STATION CALL switch into which a sta-
tion has already been memorized, the former station informa-
tion will be erased and the new station will be memorized in its
place.

(When necessary, do not neglect to per-
form Station Mode selection as well.)
Tuning can be performed simply and accurately by following
the above procedures.
-3 Adjust
the sound
volume
and
tone
as
desired.
NOTE:
ff a preset station has been erased, reset it using the above pro-
cedures.
Last station memory
When the POWER switch is pressed to turn power on, the last
station received before the power was previously turned off
will be received again.
When the power is ON, if one of the BAND selector switches
is pressed, the last station received before the BAND selector
switch was previously pressed will be received again.
