By pressing the TUNING switch (— or +) while scanning is taking
place, scanning will stop.
MANUAL tuning
This is the usual tuning method. Each time the — or + TUNING
switch is pressed, the reception frequency is changed by one tun-
ing step. When
pressed continuously,
the receiver scans the
broadcast frequencies continuously.
DIRECT ACCESS TUNING switch
When this switch is pressed, the STATION CALL switches func-
tion as ten-key number switches for direct input of the desired
reception frequency.

STATION (1—10/11--20) selector switch
This switch is used to set the STATION CALL switches to either
Mode 1 (1—10) or Mode 2 (11—20). Mode 2 (11—20) is selected
when the switch is pressed so that the STATION
(11—20) in-
dicator is lighted.
NOTE:
Changing the position of this switch has no effect on receiver
performance itself.
