2.3 Dispositifs de sécurité Les dispositifs de sécurité suivants (protection antichute) sont autorisés : • Système de protection antichute • Protection dorsale Il est interdit de manipuler les dispositifs de sécurité. Si un défaut est constaté, le système d’échelle à crinoline ne doit pas être utilisé. Respecter les normes en vigueur en fonction de l’utilisation prévue du système d’échelle à crinoline. -

4.4 Opérations finales • Contrôler les points suivants après le montage : – Toutes les pièces livrées ont-elles été montées ? – Les ancrages muraux sont-ils à niveau et l’espacement entre l’échelle à crinoline et le mur n’est-il ≤ 200 mm à aucun endroit ? Exception : obstacles inhabituels. Une distance minimale de 150 mm s’applique dans ce cas. - Page 21 Utilisation de la tige d’accès par le bas : • Relever la tige d’accès depuis un emplacement sûr, jusqu’à ce que le boulon d’arrêt situé à l’extrémité du tube s’enclenche dans le logement du guide. Information about these instructions The instructions in this manual must be read, understood and complied with to ensure correct and safe erection and operation of the fixed ladders. Failure to comply with these instructions may lead to fatal accidents, injury or damage to property. This manual must be available at the assembly/installation location at all times and must be read, understood and the instructions in it followed by all persons assembling/ installing the fixed ladder. -

2.3 Safety equipment The following safety equipment (fall protection devices) is approved for use: • Fall arrester system • Safety cage Manipulation of the safety equipment is prohibited. If defects are ascertained, the fixed ladder system must not be used. Observe the relevant standards, depending on the designated use of the fixed ladder system. -

2.5 Personnel 2.5.1 Use The operator must ensure that fixed ladders are only used by personnel familiar with the fixed ladder system. Users must be physically able to climb the fixed ladder system. Persons under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication reducing reaction times must not be allowed to work on or with the fixed ladder. -

• Screws and nuts: – Use screws and nuts from ZARGES or screws and nuts of equivalent quality. – Secure screwed connections with self-locking nuts. – To ensure easy and safe assembly, use a suitable high-performance anti-wear agent designed for heavy-duty use on stainless steel screws in the assembly area. -

4.4 Things to do after installation • After installing the product, check the following: – Have all parts included in the scope of delivery been fitted? – Are the wall anchors flush? And is the clearance between the fixed ladder and wall at least 200 mm at all points? Exception: obstructions that occur only occasionally. - Page 43 Using the access aid from below: • From a safe standing place, push the access aid upwards until the locking bolt on the end of the tube can be engaged in the recess in the guide. To do this, turn the handle slightly to the side and pull the access aid downwards.

ZARGES home page. • Once the fixed ladder has been inspected and deemed fit for use, attach the ZARGES inspection plate (order no. 878384) to the product. The month and year in which the next inspection is due must be clearly legible. -
