MIDI THRU (MIDI through out) connector (DIN 5P)
The signal from the MIDI IN connector [13] is directly supplied
here. Use a standard MIDI cable to connect this jack to the
MIDI IN jack of another MIDI component.
[13] MIDI IN (MIDI input) connector (DIN 5P)
Serves for input of the MIDI signal. Use a standard MIDI cable
to connect the jack to the MIDI OUT (or MIDI THRU) jack of
another MIDI component.
REMOTE connector (DIN 6P)
Serves for connection of an optional remote control unit
(available soon).
MEMORY UP jack (standard phone jack)
Serves for connection of an optional foot switch (FS-11). Each
push of the foot switch increases the preset memory or user
memory number by one count.
MEMORY DOWN jack (standard phone jack)
Serves for connection of an optional foot switch (FS-11). Each
push of the foot switch decreases the preset memory or user
memory number by one count.
EFFECT ON/OFF jack (standard phone jack)
Serves for connection of an optional foot switch (FS-11). Each
push of the foot switch toggles the unit between effect
processing off ("E. OFF" is displayed) and on.
HOLD ONIOFF jack (standard phone jack)
Serves for connection of an optional foot switch (FS-11). One
push of the foot switch causes the present effect sound to be
maintained ("hold" is displayed). Signals input after this point
are not processed. Another push of the switch resumes
normal effect processing. This function is active in modes 0, 1,
2, and 7.
OUTPUT jacks (standard phone jacks)
Carry the output signals of channel 1 and 2.
OUTPUT jacks (RCA-type phono jacks)
Carry the output signals of channel 1 and 2.
[21] INPUT jacks (RCA-type phono jacks)
Accept the input signal for channel 1 and 2.
LEVEL selector
This is used to match the input and output of the WU-R201 to
the level of connected equipment.
+4 dB (depressed): For use with professional-tyje
equipment.
— 20 dB (released): For use with consumer-typeauidio
components, electronic instruments, ec.
[23] INPUT jacks (standard phone jacks)
Accept the input signal for channel 1 and 2.
Note
If both-sets of input jacks are connected, the stancard phone
jacks are given priority over the RCA-type phono jas.
