Setup
If vou use the hex address IA0 or 260, vou must enter the
address in the Programming Station software. To do this, set
the "environmental variable" PPBASE in the ppcoml .bat and
ppcom2.bat files as follows:
set PPBASE = IA0
or
set PPBASE = 260

Danger of electrical shock!
Unplug the power cord before opening the housing.
Danger to internal components!
DO not engage or disengage any connections while the unit
is under power.
l Disconnect the power connectors of the PC and monitor.
b Remove the PC cover.
l Remove two adjacent expansion slot covers.

Danger to internal components!
When handling components that tan be damaged by
electrostatic discharge (ESD), observe the safety
recommendations in DIN EN 100 015. Use only antistatic
packaging material. Be sure that the work Station and the
technician are properly grounded during installation
l Insert the monitor switchover card into a free short slot at
the largest possible distance from other expansion cards.
Ensure that the card is completely inserted for full contact.
l Screw the terminal Strip with the ports X3 and X4 firmly
into place.
) Screw the terminal Strip with the ports XI and X2 firmly
into place.
l Replace the PC cover and tighten the screws.
l Insert the monitor cable into the X3 or X4 output. (If you
wish, you tan connect two monitors at once.)
