Drive power cables
Each drive connects to a power connector on the system board with a separate cable.
1.
Prepare the computer for disassembly
2.
Remove the access panel
3.
Disconnect the hard drive power cable from the rear of the hard drive (1) and the system board
connector labeled SATA_PWR1 (2).
4.
Disconnect the optical drive power cable from the rear of the optical drive (3) and the system board
connector labeled SATA_PWR0 (4).
To install the drive power cables, reverse the removal procedures.
