Installation Selection of installation equipment Cut out the work surface according to the sizes shown in the drawing. For the purpose of installation and use, a minimum of 50mm space shall be preserved around the hole. Be sure that the thickness of the work surface is at least 30mm. Please select heat-resistant work surface material to avoid larger deformation caused by the heat radiation from the appliance.
Before locating the fixing brackets The unit should be placed on a stable, smooth surface (use the packaging). Do not apply force onto the controls protruding from the hob. Fix the hob on the work surface by screw four brackets on the bottom of hob (see picture) after installation. Adjust the bracket position to suit for different work surface’s thickness.
Connecting the hob to the mains power supply The power supply should be connected in compliance with the relevant standard, or a single-pole circuit breaker. The method of connection is shown below. Using Suitable Cookware for Induction Use cookware made from ferromagnetic materials which are compatible with the induction principle. Look for the induction symbol on the packaging or on the bottom of the pan. We recommend cookware made from cast iron, enamel coated steel or stainless steel cookware designed for induction cooking.

Using your Induction Hob To start cooking After power on, the buzzer beeps once. All the indicators light up for 1 second then go out. Indicating the induction hob has entered the state of standby mode. Touch the ON/OFF control. All the indicators show “-“. Place a suitable pan on the cooking zone that you wish to use.
When you have finished cooking 1. Touching the heating zone selection control that you wish to switch off. 2. Turn the cooking zone off by touching “-” button until display show “0” (For Sliding Touch model) / by sliding to left to area “0” until display show “0” (For Sensor Touch model).
Using the boost function 1. Select the zone with boost function required. until power level indication shows “P”. 2. Touch boost control NOTE: Boost function will only last for 5 minutes by default, after that the boost zone will return to level 9 automatically.

Using Flexi Slide function (Only applicable for EIC-K7094FZ(BK)) • This may be used as a single zone or two individual zones depending on the cooking needs under different situations. • It is made of two independent inductors that can be controlled separately. When the Flexi Slide is turned on, only the zone covered by the cookware is activated (This function only works on model EIC-K7094FZ(BK)).

As a single zone (Flexi Slide) Activate Flexi Slide function To activate the Flexi Slide function, press the two heating zone selection keys simultaneously. 2. The buzzer beeps indicating that the induction hob enters selection of Flexi Slide, and the corresponding indicator will flash. 3.
Locking the Controls • You can lock the controls to prevent unintended use (for example children accidentally turning the cooking zones on). • When the controls are locked, all the controls except the ON/OFF control are disabled. To lock the controls button for 3 seconds.
Using the Timer You can use the timer in two different ways: • Use it as a minute minder. In this case, the timer will not turn any cooking zone off when the set time is up. • Use it to turn off after the set time is up. You can set the timer for up to 99 minutes. Model: EIC-K7082ST(BK) This model comes with total rated power: 3,600W. When the two cooking zones are activated, the total power sharing function will limit the maximum power to use. For example, when two cooking zones are activated, if one of the cooking zones has activated the Boost function, the power sharing function will lower down another cooking zone if the power is more than 3,600W.
