Questions and answers
the reset switch is in the proper position but still no power
The Pro-Form 835QT may have no power despite the reset switch being in the proper position due to several possible reasons:
1. The power cord may not be plugged into a surge suppressor, or the surge suppressor may not be plugged into a properly grounded outlet.
2. The surge suppressor may not meet the required specifications (UL 1449 listed, 400V suppressed voltage rating, 450J minimum surge dissipation, 120V AC, 15A).
3. The treadmill may be plugged into a GFCI-equipped outlet, which is incompatible with the treadmill.
4. The key may not be fully inserted into the console.
5. The on/off switch near the power cord may not be in the "on" position.
6. The circuit breaker on the treadmill frame may have tripped and needs resetting.
Check these factors to restore power to the treadmill.
