INSTALLATION
Initial start-up
f Fully open the rotary handle for hot water until the water
comes out free of bubbles and debris. This may take up to
two minutes.
f Turn off the tap.
f Check all connections for tightness.
f Connect the hot water generator to the power supply.

If the supply pressure is too high, this can pressurise the
vented small water heater and result in leaks.
f Measure the flow rate.
f If the flow rate is too high, reduce it with the butter-
fly valve.
f Only spouts with aerators for non-pressurised taps
suitable for use with vented hot water generators
should be used.
The maximum permissible flow rate must be adjusted with the
butterfly valve in accordance with the supply pressure and the
nominal capacity of the small water heater.
