TROUBLE DISPLAY FUNCTION
" This VCR has a function which displays
mechanism malfunctions, etc. in the LCD display.
Use this function to analyze the cause when the
power is shut off due to a malfunction, etc. in the
mechanism.
Two types of information are displayed, 1)The
operation mode when the malfunction occurred,
2)Malfunction Codes.
The details of the malfunction are displayed as
follows.
Procedure to display a malfunction
Press the (CH W ) button on the VCR when the
power is turned off and hold it; the malfunction
code is displayed while the button i is held
depressed...
[Procedure to clear the malfunction display
Press the "PLAY"
button on the VCR and hold
it, then press the microprocessor
"RESET"
button to initialize the trouble display. _
