The navigation map
data of the tapes on which the customer has made recordings is stored in IC4302 (NAVI EEPROM).
When the CFN board is replaced, ete. during servicing, remove the ROM from the new board and install the ROM from
the repaired product. Do not initialize the tape map information at this time.
Caution: Do not intialize the tape map data except when replacing IC4302 (NAV! EEPROM) due to a defect, etc. in this
memory
IC. Otherwise the tape navigation data stored by the customer will be erased.
