Surround back channel input
setting
(VSX-D812 only)
• Default sett ng: SB 2ch IN
You only haveto make this sett ng if you are
using a seperate component for decoding
DVDs, and the component has only one
surround back channel output. If this is the
case, select $B lch IN, otherwise leave it set
to SB 2ch IN,
• Use 1} or _ to select SB 2ch IN or SB
lch IN,
Digital input settings
Here you tell the receiver what components
you have hooked up to the coaxial and optical
DIGITAL IN jacks on the back of the receiver,
After you assign a component to a digital jack,
whenever you select that component, (for
example, a DVD player) the ieceiver
automat cally changes to the digital nput
setting and DIGITAL shows in the d splay.
Coaxial digital 1:
• Default sett ngs: DVD
• Use 1} or _, to assign the coaxial
digital 1 input (DVD, TV, CD, CDR, VCR or
OFF).
Coaxial digital 2:
• Default sett ng: CD
• Use 1} or _, to assign the coaxial
digital 2 input (DVD, TV, CD, CDR, VCR or
OFF).
Optical digital 1:
• Default sett ngs: TV
Use 1} or ,_ to assign the optical digital
input (DVD, "IV, CD, CDR, VCR Or OFF).
Optical digital 2
(VSX-D812 only)
• Default sett ng: CDR
Use 1} or ,_ to assign the optical digital
input (DVD, "IV, CD, CDR, VCR Or OFF).
r_Note
• You can't assign two inputs to the same
function. For example, ass gning input 1
to the default sett ng of nput 2
automatically switches input 2 to OFF.
