8 Setting the float-function height
You can set the presser foot height when pressing the float function
button.
Under this mode, the straight stitch (Pattern No. 1) is automatically
selected.
Setting range: 0.0 - 2.5 mm (in increments of 0.1 mm)
* Default setting is 0.5 (mm).
● Adjusting the float-function height
Press
such a height that it holds the fabric appropriately.
Place the fabric (for test sewing) which is same with
the fabric to be actually sewn. Adjust the presser foot
height on the setting screen and carry out test sewing.
If the presser foot height is excessively high, the fab-
ric cannot be fed causing thread entanglement. It is
therefore necessary to adjust the presser foot height
carefully.
