THREAD TENSION (1) Adjusting the needle thread tension Turn thread tenson No.  nut 1 clockwse (n drecton A), to shorten the thread length remanng on the needle after thread trmmng or counterclockwse (n drecton B), to lengthen the thread length. 2) Turn thread tenson nut 2 clockwse (n drecton C) to ncrease or counterclockwse (n drecton D) to reduce the needle thread tenson.

    (It s necessary to adjust n accordance wth materals and processes.) (Caution) For the Model DDL-9000B- DS, the fully-dry hook is adopted. Comparing with the sewing machine using the existing hook, the sewing machine tends to be affected by the adjustment of the thread take-up spring. If the thread take-up spring does not work sufficiently, thread running increases. As a result, thread breakage, balloon stitching, etc.

    17. ADJUSTMENT OF THE PEDAL WARNING : Turn OFF the power before starting the work so as to prevent accidents caused by abrupt start of the sewing machine. (1) Installing the connecting rod ) Move pedal 3 to the rght or left as llustrated by the arrows so that motor control lever 1 and connectng rod 2 are straghtened. (2) Adjusting the pedal angle ) The pedal tlt can be freely adjusted by changng the length of the connectng rod.
