J – 2x DDR DIMM slots
This allows up to 2GB of DDR RAM to be installed. Up to 1GB of RAM in each slot.
K – 20-pin ATX power connector
This is the main power connector.
L – Power Fan Connector
This allows the power unit fan to be connected to the motherboard. (Case
dependent)
M – Comm 2
Allows an additional serial port to be added. (Additional hardware required)
N – Primary IDE port
This allows up to 2 devices, such as CD/DVD drives and hard drives to be added
to the IDE channel. The port is slotted to ensure correct installation.
O – Floppy drive connector
This allows a floppy drive to be added to the motherboard. The port is slotted to
ensure correct installation.
P – Secondary IDE port
This allows and additional 2 IDE device to be added to the motherboard. The port is
slotted to ensure correct installation.
Q – Jumper 1 (Red)
This allows the CMOS to be cleared. Read the section regarding the BIOS and
CMOS. The default position of the jumper is covering pin 1 and 2. (see figure 3)
R – Panel 1
This is the panel to which the case cables are connected, such as the power switch,
Power LED etc..
S – Battery
The battery keeps the CMOS memory when the system isn't turned on.
