Overview of Jumper Settings The Vig550B motherboard contains the latest technology to offer an almost jumper less configuration. All Pentium® 4 CPUs are automatically detected and the Speed is automatically set from the information provided by the CPU. The only jumper present on the motherboard is for clearing all the CMOS settings. In the unlikely event of the CMOS becoming corrupted then jumper JP1 can be set to clear the contents of the CMOS. -

The BIOS uses current configuration information and passwords for booting. Clear Turn off the system and unplug the power cord. Move the jumper from pins 1-2 (default) to pins 2-3 for about 5~10 seconds. Then move the jumper back to pins 1-2.
