• Do not process media such as white spirit, butyl
alcohol and methylene chloride with the PVC pres
sure hose. These media will destroy the pressure
hose.
• The work area must be separated from the com
pressor so that it cannot come into direct contact
with the working medium.

Operating pressure vessels
• You must keep your pressure vessel in good work
ing order, operate the vessel correctly, monitor the
vessel, carry out necessary maintenance and re
pair work immediately and meet the relevant safety
precautions.
• The supervisory authority may enforce essential
control measures in individual cases.
• A pressure vessel is not allowed to be used if it has
faults or deficiencies that can endanger workers or
third parties.
• Check the pressure vessel for signs of rust and
damage each time before using. Do not use the
compressor with a damaged or rusty pressure ves
sel. If you discover any damage, then please con
tact the customer service workshop.
Do not lose these safety instructions.

S3 25%: Intermittent mode, no startup, no braking
(cycle duration 10 minutes) In intermittent mode, the
percentage load factor (25%) is always quoted so that
the heat generated during this period can be dissi
pated during breaks in operation by convective cool
ing. Intermittent mode consists of the on time and the
cooling breaks, known as the duty cycle.

The period of consideration is 10 minutes. 25 % load
factor means that the electric tool can be operated for
2.5 minutes at the rated performance, followed by a
cooling phase of 7.5 minutes.

The effects of noise can cause a loss of hearing. Total
vibration values (vector sum three directions) deter
mined in accordance with EN ISO 3744.
Vibration emission value a
h
uncertainty K
The specified vibration value was established in ac
cordance with a standardized testing method. It may
change according to how the electric equipment is
used and may exceed the specified value in excep
tional circumstances;
The specified vibration value can be used to compare
the equipment with other electric power tools.
The specified vibration value can be used for initial
assessment of a harmful effect.
Warning:
The vibration emission value can vary from the speci
fied value during the actual use of the electric tool,
depending on the type and the manner in which the
electric tool is used; Try to minimise stress from vibra
tions as low as possible. Some examples of means
for reducing the vibration stress are wearing gloves
while using the tool and limiting work time. In the pro
cess all parts of the operating cycle must be taken
into account (such as times in which the electric tool
is switched off or time in which it is switched on, but is
not running under a load).

7. Before starting the equipment

Before you connect the equipment to the mains sup
ply make sure that the data on the rating plate are
identical to the mains data.
• Check the equipment for damage which may have
occurred in transit. Report any damage immedi
ately to the transport company which was used to
deliver the compressor.
