After the remote branch administrator cables the FTD so it has internet access from the outside interface, you
can register the FTD to the FMC and complete configuration of the device.
Log Into the Firepower Management Center
Use the FMC to configure and monitor the FTD.
Before you begin
For information on supported browsers, refer to the release notes for the version you are using (see
https://www.cisco.com/go/firepower-notes).
Procedure
Step 1
Using a supported browser, enter the following URL.
https://fmc_ip_address
Step 2
Enter your username and password.
Step 3
Click Log In.
Obtain Licenses for the Firepower Management Center
All licenses are supplied to the FTD by the FMC. You can optionally purchase the following feature licenses:
• Threat—Security Intelligence and Cisco Firepower Next-Generation IPS
• Malware—Advanced Malware Protection for Networks (AMP)
• URL—URL Filtering
• RA VPN—AnyConnect Plus, AnyConnect Apex, or AnyConnect VPN Only
