Site requirements

As required by IEC/EN 60079-25, a site risk analysis has to determine possible measures to
exclude any dangers from overvoltage. For zone 1 and 2, the surge protection of the optics
housing CD 6 can be used for this purpose. For zone 0, a separate surge protection must be
implemented outside zone 0.
