Operating Instructions
The IMPRES 2 adaptive charger system is a fully automated battery care system.
When and where to use:
To ensure optimized charging performance, turn off the radio while charging unless the radio is
transmitting data wirelessly on Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.
Batteries charge best at room temperature.
Procedure:
1 Place the radio or IMPRES 2 battery into the charger.
2 Remove the radio or IMPRES 2 battery when fully charged.
The LED turns to steady green when fully charged.
The charger pocket accommodates either a radio with an attached IMPRES 2 battery or an
IMPRES 2 battery alone.
The charger is equipped with 2-USB Type A Power Outputs that facilitates the charging of two
wireless device by a constant 2.5 W of power ( 5 V at 500 mA) per connector.

Charging IMPRES 2 batteries

Prerequisites: To ensure optimized charging performance, turn off the radio while charging unless the
radio is transmitting data wirelessly on Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.
Procedure:
1 Plug the charger end of the power supply cord into the power receptacle located at the side of
the charger.
2 Plug the wall receptacle end of the power supply cord into the appropriate AC outlet.
A successful power-up sequence is indicated by a single green blink on the charger indicator.
3 Insert a radio with attached battery or a stand-alone battery into the charger.
