8.4.4. Returning to the Service Provider

This document section contains the general information on packing and shipping an antenna tuner for
diagnostics and repair.
Should it be necessary to ship the antenna tuner, use the original packing as described
below.
Before shipping the antenna tuner, you should contact your local dealer first.
Your dealer can have a specific shipment requirement, e.g., a different shipping address.
It is the sole customer's responsibility to ensure the antenna tuner is properly packaged
to avoid any shipping damage.
Please, note that the packing procedure described below may vary due to different
packing solutions.
Prepare the antenna tuner for shipping as described below:
Switch off the amplifier via Main Power Switch (see amplifier's User's Manual).

Make sure the Main Power Switch is in OFF position;
Pull the amplifier's line (mains) plug out of the outlet;

Do not disconnect GROUND connection on the antenna tuner;
•
Disconnect all antenna cables from the antenna tuner (see
•
, Pos. 2);

Disconnect cable labeled 50Ω RF +26 VDC POWER & CONTROL from the rear panel of the

antenna tuner (see
Remove the GROUND connection last (see
Pos. 1).
Uninstall the antenna tuner by following the requirements of Sections

perform the actions in reverse order);
Pack the antenna tuner, and if necessary, the installation accessories in its original cardboard
