Switching the appliance off
Once you have finished using the appliance, switch
it off using the On/Off switch (0/ l) 5 and pull the
mains plug out of the mains socket.

Timer function

The timer function allows you to start a programme
with a time delay. You can specify a time by which
the appliance should have finished the desired
programme. The maximum time delay is 15 hours.
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
► Only use the timer function for recipes that
you have already tried out. This ensures that
the desired baking result is achieved and,
above all, that there is not too much dough
(which could then overflow). There is a risk
of fire if the dough overflows!
NOTE
► The timer function is not available for pro-
grammes 9, 11 and 13–15.
► Do not use perishable ingredients such as
milk, eggs, cream or cheese, etc. when using
the time delay function.
1) Start by selecting the desired programme.
2) Now use the arrow buttons D to select the
desired total duration of the programme and
delay time. The programme end time is shifted
by 10 minutes per keystroke. Hold the arrow
buttons D pressed to scroll through the digits
more quickly.
3) Confirm the timer setting with the Start/Stop
button B. The operating light E flashes and
the programmed time b starts to run down.
The programme starts automatically at the
appropriate time.
As soon as the programme starts, the operating
light E lights up permanently.

Example:
It is 12 o'clock and you would like to have fresh
bread in 6 hours, i.e. at 6 pm. First, make the
desired programme settings. Then press the arrow
buttons D until the time indicator b on the display
A shows 6:00, meaning the time until completion
is 6 hours in total. Remember that the bread needs
to cool down a bit before you can eat it.

Add function / adding ingredients

In programmes 1–6, 10 and 16, you will hear
several beeps during the 2nd kneading phase and
"ADD" g appears on the display A. You can now
add other ingredients, such as fruits or nuts, during
operation. This prevents the ingredients from being
crushed by the kneading blades 7.
Another short kneading phase follows, during
which the added ingredients are mixed into the
dough.
NOTE
► If you do not want to add any ingredients,
you do not need to do anything. The
programme continues automatically.
► The Add function is not available for
programmes 7–9 and 11–15.
Remove function / removing
kneading blades
For programmes 1–6, 10 and 16, you will hear
10 beeps after the 2nd rising phase and "RMV"
c will flash on the display A. You now have the
option to remove the kneading blades 7 before
the start of the baking phase to avoid large holes
in the finished bread.
Proceed as follows:
1) If "RMV" flashes on the display A, press the
Start/Stop button B. The current programme is
now paused for 10 minutes, and the remaining
programme time b flashes on the display A.
2) Open the lid 2 and remove the baking tin 8.
3) Push the dough aside a little with floured hands
and pull the kneading blades 7 off the two
drive shafts.
