Prepare the USB stick for the update software update. To do this, place a repository in an "up- date" directory on the USB stick. The repository is pro- vided by KEBA. Control is not in STOP or OsReady Software- operating state update Stop sys- The control must be stopped.
8.4.1 Failure of supply voltage If there is failure of the total device power supply (24 V) > 10 ms, the KEBA I/ O modules will switch to a secure operating state (outputs switched off). All safe outputs of the safety control will be switched off.
Information about executing a firmware update of the CPU module can be found in the system manual. Repair work on the device is not permitted, the device must be replaced completely and the defective device must be sent to KEBA. Only for D3-DU 3x5/x Information Unallowed manipulation of the integrated safety control will result in loss of safety accreditation.
Via the display menu of the DU 3xx/x obsolete software of the control can be updated. Therefore a USB stick with a repository for the update is needed. This repository is provided by KEBA and must be in a directory named "up- date". Furthermore the control must be in state STOP or OsReady.
