z The FeliCa reader and NFC Reader/Writer, P2P
functions of the handset comply with wireless
guidelines domestically in Japan. Before using them
abroad, check conditions such as regulations of the
country/region to use the function.
z Never change the basic software improperly.
This may be regarded as a conversion of software and
repairs may be refused.

SH-03L is waterproof to IPX5
IP5X *3 standards if the back cover is attached. It also
uses a shockproof construction passing testing
comply with MIL standards.
*1 IPX5 means that the communication device keeps
functioning after being subjected to a jet flow (12.5
L/min) discharged from a nozzle (inner diameter:
6.3 mm), from all directions (approximately 3 m
from the handset) for 3 minutes or more.
*2 IPX8 means that the communication device keeps
functioning after the mobile phone is slowly
submerged to depth of 1.5 m in static tap water at
room temperature, left there for approximately 30
minutes and then taken out.

*3 IP5X indicates the level of protection and means
that the communication device keeps functioning
and maintains its safety after the mobile phone is
agitated in a test device with 75 μm or smaller
particles for 8 hours.

the US Department of Defense.
