Data saver: Suppress the data usage volume by
„
pausing data transmission in the background of
some apps.
z For apps whose data communication is not
restricted even during Data saver, you can set it
from [Unrestricted data].
Mobile data: Set whether to use the data
„
communication via mobile networks.
Mobile data usage: Measure the volume of data
„
communication via Mobile network and display the
results in a graph.
Billing cycle: For the data usage volume via mobile
„
networks, set for the date of starting to measure or
data communication volume for generating alert on
a monthly basis.
Also, if you set [Set data limit] to ON, you can
pause the data communication when the data
communication volume reaches to the limit. You
can set the limit in [Data limit].
z When the data usage volume reaches to the limit,
the notification that mobile data is being paused
is displayed. Select [OK] to pause data
communication until the next billing period. Select
[Resume] to resume data communication.
Wi-Fi data usage: Measure the volume of data
„
communication via Wi-Fi and display the results in a
graph.
Network restrictions: Set the limit for a measured-
„
rate Wi-Fi network.
The value displayed for data usage is recorded as an

approximation on mobile devices. You can check on
My docomo for actual amount of data on Mobile
network.
VPN (Virtual Private Network)
Adding VPN

VPN (Virtual Private Network) is a connection method to
prepare and connect safely to a virtual dedicated line on
the network of a household PC or in an office from
outside etc.
z Acquire information about the security from network
administrators to set VPN connection from the
handset.
z Set Screen lock to Lock No. or Password in advance
