DESCRIPTION
Demonstration circuit 1338B features the LTC
high performance temperature, voltage and current moni-

tor that uses I
C for communication. It offers submillivolt
resolution and 1% current and 1°C temperature measure-
ment accuracy.
DC1338B is a member of Linear Technology's QuikEval™
family of demonstration boards. It is designed to allow easy
evaluation of the LTC2990 and may be connected directly
to the target application's analog signals while using the

Voltage and Current Monitor
DC590 USB Serial Controller board and supplied software
to measure performance. Exposed ground planes allow
proper grounding to prototype circuitry. After evaluating
with Linear Technology's software, the I

for development of the serial interface.

Click the COLLECT button to Connect DC1338B to a DC590 USB serial controller using start reading the input voltage (COLLECT button becomes the supplied 14 conductor ribbon cable. Connect DC590 PAUSE after collection has been initiated). -

DEMO MANUAL DC1338B HARDWARE SETUP ADR0, ADR1: These jumpers are used to select the I Connection to DC590 Serial Controller address for the LTC2990. When used with QuikEval, the J1 is the power and digital interface connector. Connect correct address should also be selected from within the to DC590 serial controller with supplied 14 conductor software. -
