3.6 Storage Drives

The AS -1115S-FWTRT/AS -1115S-FDWTRT supports two internal 2.5" storage drives in
drive carriers to simplify their removal from the chassis. These carriers also help promote
proper airflow.
Note: Enterprise level drives are recommended for use in Supermicro chassis and servers.

Installing 2.5" Drives
1. Remove power as described in Section 3.1 and remove the chassis cover.
2. If necessary, remove the PCI expansion card from the chassis.
3. Remove the drive brackets from the chassis. Insert the drive into the drive brackets and
secure the drive to the bracket with screws, as shown below.
