4-2 Unable to feed the media properly

If the media cannot be fed into the machine properly (for example, it slips out of the roller during cutting), check
the following causes and solutions.

The media move obliquely in the machine during cutting

Is the media or the left side of the cutting mat aligned with the Guiding Line?

• Align the left side of the media with the Guiding Line when loading.
Align the left edge of the
media against the Guiding

Is the Pinch Roller Unit aligned with the media and set to the appropriate printing position?
• Move the Pinch Roller Unit to the left and right, and check that it is set to the appropriate printing position
according to the media size.

Are the edges of the media cut at a right angle?

• Place a ruler against the media, and cut the edges straight and at a right angle using a cutter knife or similar
tool.
