CMOS Clear

Refer to Table 5-21 for the jumper
settings to clear CMOS.
remove the AC power cord from
the system before clearing CMOS.
NOTE: For an ATX power supply, you must
completely shut down the system, remove the
AC power cord and then use JBT1 to clear
CMOS. Replace JBT1 back to the pin 1-2 posi-
tion before powering up the system again. Do
not use the PW_ON connector to clear CMOS.

Front Side Bus Speed

CPU speed = FSB x Core/Bus ratio
The jumper settings for FSB Speed
are JP1 for theP3TDE6 (Table 5-22).
Core/Bus Ratio settings are de-
scribed in Section 2-7.
SCSI Termination Enable/
Disable
The SCSI Termination jumper JP60
allows you to enable or disable
termination for the SCSI connec-
tors. The normal (default)
position is open to enable SCSI
termination. See Table 5-23 for
jumper settings.
