Cabling for the SPG-8260

This section provides information for connecting cables to the installed Rear Modules on the
openGear frames. Connect the input and output cables according to the following sections.

DFR-8310 Series Frame Cabling Overview

Each 8310AR-030 rear module occupies one slot and accommodates one card. This rear module
provides eight video outputs. Depending on your configuration, there can be a reference input or
an AES output on BNC 9, and an AES output or a Word Clock output on BNC 10. (Figure 7)

DFR-8321, OG3-FR, and OGX-FR Series Frame Cabling Overview

The SPG-8260 is used with the following Rear Modules:
• 8320AR-030 Full Rear Module — Each rear module occupies two slots and accommodates one
card. This rear module provides eight video outputs. Depending on your configuration, there can
be a reference input or an AES output on BNC 9, and an AES output or a Word Clock output on
BNC 10. (Figure 7)
• 8320AR-031 Split Rear Module — Each rear module occupies two slots and accommodates two
cards. This rear module provides four video outputs per card. Depending on your configuration,
an AES or Word Clock output is available on the bottom BNC. (Figure 8)

This section provides cabling information for the SPG-8260-W when installed in an openGear frame.
