On legacy SPG-8260(-W) cards, use SW2 to enable, disable, and select specific configurations
within the operational function modes menu (selected first with SW1).

Control and Monitoring Features

This section provides information on the LEDs for the SPG-8260(-W). Refer to Figure 6 for the
location of the LEDs and controls.
Legacy SPG-8260 cards will include a card-edge 4-character display and the SW1 and SW2
switches. Refer to "Card-edge Menus" for details on the card-edge menu system..

Status and Selection LEDs on the Card Edge

The front-edge of the card has LED indicators for the cooling module fan, alarm, and
communication activity. Basic LED displays and descriptions are provided in Table 1.

Color
Display and Description
When lit green, this LED indicates that the card is
functioning normal and that no anomalies have been
detected. A valid reference signal must be present when
a reference is required.
When flashing green and red, this LED indicates that a
valid reference signal is not present on the selected
reference input.
When lit red, this LED indicates that the card is
experiencing internal errors.
