Seven default roles are provided in the ETERNUS DX. The following table shows the roles and the
available functions (categories).

*1: This is the role that is used for external software. A user account with a "Software" role can-
not be used with ETERNUS Web GUI or ETERNUS CLI.
• To use functions that require a license, a category that supports the function used to register
the required license must be selected.
• The default roles cannot be deleted or edited.
The function categories for the roles cannot be changed.

A role must be assigned when creating a user account.
