Remove Uncured Ink on the Capstan

4. Allow adequate time for capstan to dry.
NOTE
If the scrubbing action leaves fibres from the cloth on the surface, wait for the surface
to dry completely, then follow the procedure listed above for Removing Solid Debris.
When the capstan is kept clean and its rubber surface is free of stains or defects, you
are ensured of accurate media transport and optimal print quality. If its surface is badly
damaged, the capstan needs to be replaced.
