printed material.
Running on Solaris 9.0
To run RXT Firmware Version 1.1.0.63 on SUN Solaris 9.0, you must update to the
Solaris 9 Recommended Patch Cluster (177.3M), which is available at:
http://sunsolve.sun.com/pub-cgi/show.pl?target=patches/patch-access.
Ultra-320 SCSI Compatibility
RXT drives use Ultra-320 SCSI. To avoid problems, ensure that your HBA supports
Ultra-320 SCSI connectivity.
Compression Issues
Data is not compressed if you are using the following combination of products:
• BlueScale Encryption Professional Edition
• RXT
• NetVault and Backup Exec, which don't accept variable block size
Time Changes
The RXT drive does not automatically adjust for Daylight Savings Time; it is up to the
user to manually change the time.
