Installing the AIT-5 Drive
1. Remove the new AIT-5 drive from its packaging.
2. Attach the power cable to the new drive, and make sure both the power cable
and SCSI ID cable are securely attached to the drive (Figure 7).

Attach the power cable and SCSI ID cable to the drive.
3. Slide the drive into the drive slot. Drive 1 fits above the drive rails, Drive 2 fits
below them. Use the top slot if you are installing only one drive. Keep the
power cable to the right as you insert the drive into the library (Figure 8).

Always place the first drive in the top slot; the second
