Library Installation

Please read this important information before unpacking the library.
Caution:
Save all packaging materials when unpacking the library. In the event that your
library needs to be returned to Spectra Logic, it must be shipped in its original
packaging or the library warranty is void.

Initial Set Up

Use your Quick Set Up Guide to quickly install and configure the library.

Fan Operation

In LVD/SE SCSI libraries, the rear panel fan operates only when a tape is loaded in a drive.

SCSI IDs

SCSI Libraries Verify that each device on the SCSI bus has a unique ID. See your User Guide for more
information.

Attaching Cables to the Library

SCSI Libraries Attach the SCSI cable to the library. If the library is the last device on the bus, also be sure
to install a terminator.
