Modify – Use [Quick Search] at the top toolbar to fi nd desired data for modifi cation, change as necessary,
and click <
> to save changes. If prompted with 'Do you want to restart the communication server?',
Click [Yes].

Delete – Use [Quick Search] at the top toolbar to fi nd desired data for deletion, select desired data to be
deleted, and click <
'Do you want to restart the communication server?', click [Yes].
DEVICE AND READER SETTING
Explains how to setup devices and readers of the system.
(This is not available in SAMS Pro Lite.)
Device Setting [Add]
Device Setting provides setup methods of controller and other biometrics readers, related to communication
address, name and other detailed options of each device.
1.
From the upper menu, select [System Management] > [Device Setting].

Click Add <
> in the tool bar.
3.
Select a [Site].
4.
Select a [Loop].
5.
Move to the [Basic Setting] tab.
6.
Select a [Device Type]. Select [Controller] for access controller device, or select [Biometrics Reader] for
biometrics/fi ngerprint readers.

SSA-P102, SSA-P40x, SSA-S21xx, SSA-S30xx, SSA-PE1202 series products are controllers, and SSA-R20xx series
products are biometrics readers.
7.
Select the product type for the device to be confi gured in [Product Type].
8.
Select [Device Door Type]. Door Type varies depending on the devices.

SSA-P102, SSA-S21xx, SSA-S30xx series products are 1-door type. SSA-P40x series products are 2~4 Door type.
