Triggering on Signals
When both TRIG'D and READY light, it means the logic scope has recognized a
valid main trigger and is waiting for a delayed trigger. When it recognizes a
delayed trigger, it will fill in the posttrigger portion of the delayed waveform.
Determine the Trigger
To determine the trigger type, check the lower-right corner of the display. The
Type, Position, and Level
trigger type readout appears for all trigger types. (See Figure 3-73.)
To determine the trigger threshold level, relative to a trigger source displayed on
screen, check the long or short-style trigger level bar. (See Figure 3-73.)
The trigger bar appears for Edge and Pulse triggers only and must be turned on
in the Display menu to appear at all. The trigger level bar shows only the trigger
level, and it remains on screen regardless of the horizontal position as long as the
channel providing the trigger source is displayed.

To determine the trigger position of the waveform group, check the trigger point
indicator (T) on the waveform. (See Figure 3-73.)
The trigger position indicator appears for all five trigger types if it is turned on in
the Display menu. It can be horizontally positioned off screen with long record
lengths.
