Access the File Utilities

corresponds to the object you wish to save: a logic scope group, hardcopy, or
setup. When you save the object, the logic scope stores it on the disk and gives it
a unique name.
The name given the object includes a serial number based on the order in which
it was created. For example, the logic scope saves the first group you save to the
file TEK00001.GRP, the second to TEK00002.GRP, and so on, if you have
selected the TEK?????.GRP wild card file.

The File Utilities allow you to delete, rename, copy, or print files; lock out or
allow overwriting or deleting of those files; create and delete directories; and
format disks. To use these utilities, do the procedure Access the File Utilities,
and then do the procedures that follow.
1. Press either the SETUP button to bring up the Save/Recall Setup menu, the
WAVEFORM button to bring up the Save/Recall Waveform menu, or the
SHIFT
HARDCOPY MENU button to bring up the Hardcopy menu.
2. Press File Utilities (main) to bring up the File Utilities side menu. (See
Figure 3-29.)
