TR8 (Torx Security) driver
•
Anti-static wrist strap (1 MOhm resistance)
•
Soft ESD safe mat
•
Microfiber / lint free cloth
•
Gloves
•
Safety glasses
•
Plastic pry tool (spudger)
•
Isopropyl alcohol dispenser bottle (use 91% or greater)
•
Cotton swab
•

Top Case Screw (PN) Qty. 5
•
Prerequisite Steps
Power Off Device
Ensure device is powered off and disconnected from its power source.
Disconnect the device charger or power cord from mains power.
•
Let the device sit until the Xbox button in the center of the controller is no longer
•
illuminated or by holding the Xbox button and selecting "Turn off controller".
Remove the batteries from the compartment
