Before starting

WARNING! Note the following before
!

starting:

The machine's power unit must be
connected to an earthed outlet socket.
Che ck that the mains voltage
corresponds with that stated on the
rating plate on the machine.
Make sure you have a secure footing and
that the cutting bla de cannot touch
anything.
Keep peopl e and anima ls well away from
the working area.
Connect the machine to the power unit.
Connect the power unit to a grounded outlet
Turn on the power unit switch.
WARNING! The machine (Great Britain
!
120V) is not equipped with a ground fault
circuit interrupter. The machi ne must
always be used with an isolating
transformer for protection in case an
electrical fault should occur.
Water connector
CAUTI ON! Never operate the machine without coolant
as this will c ause ov erheating.
Connect the water hose to the water s upply.
When t he thrott le lockout (1) is depressed, the water
valve will open.

STARTING AND STOPPING

Starting
Grip the rear handle with your right hand.
Depress the throttle lockout and hold in the throttle.
Run t he machine unloaded and in a safe manner for
at least 30 seconds.

Stopping

WARNING! The cutting blade continues
!
to rotate for up to 10 seconds after the
motor has been turned off.
Stop the motor by releasing the throttle.
The motor can also be s topped by pressing the
emergency stop button or turning the switch to OFF
(0 ) on the power unit.
Turn off the tool.
Allow the cutting blade to st op complet ely.
Turn t he switc h t o t he OFF position (O) on the power
pack.
Turn off the tool.
