Reversible cutting head

The machine is fi tted with a reversible cutting head
allowing cutting c lose to a wall or at ground level,
restricted only by the thic kness of the blade guard.
There is an increased risk for kickback when c utting with

away for the c entre of the machine which means the
handle and the c utt ing blade are no longer in alignment. It
is more diffi cult t o restrain t he machine if the blade gets
jammed or stuck in its kickback dan ger zone. See under
t he "Kick back" heading in t he "Operating" s ection f or
additional information.
Some of the machine's good ergonomic features may
also be jeopardised. Cutting with the cut ting head
