8.3 LED2 for internal communication is
permanently red
Cause
The CIM module does
not support the
Grundfos product.
The CIM module is not
configured. The product
driver is not downloaded
from the cloud yet.
When the CIM
module is switched on,
LED2 may turn green
for 1 minute before it
turns permanently red.

8.4 LED1 is flashing yellow

LED1 is flashing with a one-second interval.
Cause
The SIM card is not
inserted.
The SIM card is
not inserted correctly.
The PIN code of the
SIM card is not removed
or set to 4321.
No connection to the
cellular network.

Remedy
Contact Grundfos.
Run the setup process
in the cloud. Contact
Grundfos.
Remedy
Insert the SIM card.
Insert the SIM card
correctly.
Remove the PIN
code or set it to 4321
with a mobile phone.
Check the connection
to the antenna.
Check the cellular
coverage of the area
with, for instance, a
mobile phone.
Experiment with the
position of the external
antenna.
In some cases, adding
an additional antenna
to the second SMA
connector may
improve the signal.
8.5 LED3 for RS-485 interface is flashing
red
Cause
Communication to
Modbus RTU slaves is
not working.

8.6 No data is coming from the product

Cause
The SIM card is
dislocated.
The antenna conditions
are not optimal.

Remedy
Make sure that
the slaves have unique
Modbus RTU
addresses.
Check the Modbus
RTU parameter
settings, such as baud
rate, parity bits, start/
stop bits.
There is no cloud
driver for the Modbus
RTU slave device
loaded to the CIM
module.
Remedy
Reinsert the SIM card
into the SIM slot.
The slanted edge of
the SIM card must
point upwards.

conditions. See section
Antenna requirements.
